DavINK Tattoo.

David Garcia 1983 - 2020.

I never could have imagined when I took these photos in November 2019 that I'd see them in a Memorial of Life Bulletin less than a year later. David was one of the best role models I ever had. He always pushed me to be better, and inspired me with his art. I would not be the photographer I am today without his constant encouragement, advice and scolding.
David took the time to see the good in people, notice their talents and goals, and lifted them up — even when he did not have to. He was my artist, but he was also one of my dearest friends.

David Garcia, te doy las gracias por todo que hiciste por mi. Your legacy and love lives on through all who knew you. I am committed to trying to live my life more like you did. I am lucky and blessed to have crossed paths with you in my lifetime.

Thank you for the laughs, the memories, the friendship, and the love. (And of course, the art.) Rest in power, peace and honor. You are dearly, dearly missed. The world will never be the same without you in it.

- tu amiga por siempre. ❤

To Vicky and the kids -- my heart is broken for you. Please know I send my prayers and love every day.
